Business Analyst_IFS

Location: Johns Creek, Georgia
An experienced Business Analyst with expertise in providing value to the business through effective process analysis and requirements development and documentation.  Must have solid communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills required to interact with stakeholders and colleagues both at a high-level (big picture) and a detailed-level.  As an Infrastructure Business Analyst, responsibilities include: 
    Identifying, evaluating, and having a clear understanding of the high-level business needs of stakeholders; 
    Responsible for scope elicitation, analysis and management;
    Responsible for requirements elicitation, analysis and management; 
    Continuously monitoring and analyzing potential impacts to requirements and scope; 
    Creating diagrams to visually depict the scope and requirements
    Ability to quickly assess AS-IS and draw out the process flows and identify gaps.

Must have experience in Infrastructure including understanding of one or more of the following areas:
    ECommerce  Understanding of site functionality
    Retail Industry  Knowledge of retail industry and its key business drivers 
    Cloud Hosting  Data centers, continuous availability, multi-site hosting environments
    Data Canter Management  - Knowledge of what makes up a datacenter
    Server Provisioning  - Knowledge of non-functional requirements
    IT Automation  Understanding of automation as it relates to infrastructure.
Knowledge of industry best practices of business processes. Leads the development of potential scope based on business value and need, for large and extra-large projects; and can translate those needs and approaches at the appropriate level based on audience. Works proactively and with minimal direction to build relationships with senior level business partners, establishing goals and a shared vision. Stimulates the business partner, and internal team members, to think through requests, looking for opportunities to support or improve the business process. Thinks strategically, challenges the business partner to consider alternatives in the process based on business priorities, recognizes and communicates the broad implications to the business. Able to move business initiatives forward even when there is limited clarity on definition, timing or resources. Can effectively communicate with different levels of management or team members, displaying verbal agility in face-to-face situations. 
Candidate must consistently demonstrate professional maturity. Influences decisions of others and expresses views in a productive, diplomatic manner. Drives to a common understanding of what success looks like for team, third party vendors and business partners. Willingly shares knowledge of industry best practices. Serves as a mentor and advisor to other product managers. Demonstrates flexibility in response to change in strategy or direction. 

5 to 7 years as a business analyst in fast paced and changing environment. Candidate must possess an in-depth knowledge of the retail business process, non-functional requirements and data center management. Primary responsibilities include gathering and prioritizing business requirements and assisting in the translation to technical requirements. Individual will serve as a liaison between different infrastructure teams to assess each team's requirements to support cloud based data center. Candidate must be able to rapidly learn the business processes in order to prioritize required software needs. In this role, the candidate will elicit requirements from internal stakeholders . Candidate will be required to utilize his/her business background in retail and/or software development to contribute to system solutions. Must be able to work with multiple business partners, project teams and various applications. Demonstrates the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, which requires multitasking and efficient time management. Will be required to initiate and participate in both strategic and conceptual discussions, as well as address detailed/tactical activities. 
Required Skills:
Advanced Communication and Facilitation Skills
A minimum 5 years operational experience.
Excellent capability to develop effective working relationships with various internal Service areas/providers.
Excellent skills in translating business partner needs and issues into an eCommerce infrastructure needs.
