Senior Corporate Accountant

Location: Collingswood, New Jersey
Job Title:              Senior Corporate Accountant

Reports to:           Regional Controller
 
Role Summary:
 
The Senior Corporate Account for the US’s role will be to support the Regional Controller in the accounting function for the US. Key responsibilities will be Accounts receivable, Month End close, Banking, Balance sheet analysis, and other duties as needed.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
1) Accounts receivable-MAS
Follow up on overdue AR on the bi-weekly MAS AR report with branches/controllers and report updates to Regional Controller
 
2) Month End Close Corp USA
  • Maintain monthly recurring entries and update as required
  • Post monthly recurring entries
  • Post ADP tax invoices, SUTA/FUTA rate adjustment invoices
  • Calculate and Post Workers Comp accrual entries
  • Prepare Corp USA Day After Report for review
 
3) Banking
  • Post Wire Transfer requests from accounting and payroll to the general ledger
  • Assist payroll manager with open payroll bank reconciliation items
  • Review and clear open items on the Corp USA bank account
 
4) BALANCE SHEET ANALYSIS
  • Analyze selected Corp USA balance sheet accounts as directed on a monthly basis
  • Compile Corp USA balance sheet analysis by the Regional Controller
  • Prepare the Corp USA balance sheet package on a monthly basis
 
5) OTHER
  • Update the Wage Recovery Analysis on a monthly basis
  • Update the Workers Comp audit reports on a monthly basis
  • Assist other controllers with month end close, analysis or other reporting as needed and/or directed
 
 
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Required)
 
 
Professional/Related Experience:
3+ years accounting related experience
 
 
Skills:
  1. Analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines.
  2. Excellent reconciliation skills
  3. Effective communication skills/team player
  4. Strong Microsoft Office and skills
