Windows Support Engineer

Education: 4-yr College degree (in Computer Science, MIS, or related field) is desired
The successful candidate will become a member of the Integration Services team. The candidate will be responsible for the support and engineering of custom and COTS applications running on Windows Server. Candidate must have strong hands-on experience with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and application upgrades. This candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced 24x7 environment, with on-call duties as required, and must possess the ability to work with a diverse, high-performance team.
- Windows Server 2012/2016/2019
- Intermediate scripting skills (PowerShell/VB Script)
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Advanced application and OS troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Expert in Microsoft IIS and web application support
- Strong experience supporting and troubleshooting .NET applications
- Experience supporting highly available applications using Microsoft Clustering and network load balancing
Desired skills
- Experience with implementing infrastructure supporting application containers
- Experience with implementing automation to enable agile development
- JBoss
- Microsoft FTP Server and/or GlobalScape Enhanced File Transfer
